    1. Teaching Positions: 

    • MS (5-8) Special Education Teacher - (TEACHIOWA) - This teacher will effectively support the education of students who exhibit behavioral disorders and emotional disturbances. Certified staff in this position will be required to hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education with Strategist II endorsement or a Class B license for Strategist II.  The Behavior Support Classroom teacher will be responsible for promoting and developing successful learning for identified students who are eligible for IDEA services and be responsible for the curriculum, instruction, and assessment.  The teacher will need to have the physical ability to address and/or assist staff in physical management of students in crisis.
