Congratulations to the high school choir and band at State Large Group Contest last Saturday!

Last week, sixth-grade students traveled to Des Moines. Thanks to a generous donation by PIE, we were able to explore the Science Center of Iowa. We learned more about science concepts through hands-on learning, and learned more about fire with a live show! We also toured the Iowa State Capitol building to learn more about how our state government operates! We are so thankful for everyone who made this field trip possible!

Doris Remmers and Melvin FCS donated Marigold Flowers for the second grade class to give to their moms for Mother’s Day. Happy Mother’s Day!!

HMS MS students surprised their teachers this week with a wall of thanks! Students left notes for their teachers telling them how they’ve made a difference in their lives this year.

The 8th grade class visited their Hometown Hawk Partner, The Cut Meat Market. They took a tour of the facility and tried some samples!

A special thanks to the boys and girls golf teams for joining us this morning for High Five Friday!

Our 7th & 8th graders attended the Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls last week! A big thanks to our PIE group for covering the admission so that our students could enjoy a beautiful day of learning and exploring. We are grateful to our chaperones for volunteering and to all the many people who made the day great!
