🏀HMS Elementary had a blast participating in a March Madness activity for their Schoolwide Celebration! Each classroom cheered for 6 teams and followed them throughout the tournament. In the end, we celebrated the winning classroom!

ISASP state testing is next week! Here are a few important reminders to help our HMS students perform their best:
-Attendance is very important during testing week—please plan appointments and absences accordingly.
-Make sure students get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast each day.
-Encourage a positive mindset and remind students to take their time and do their best.

TK got creative and built houses for the Three Little Pigs. Students had to blow on the houses to make sure their structures were sturdy enough to withstand the blowing force of the Big Bad Wolf. This activity tied into their CKLA Fables unit of study.

Premier Communications came to share some Oreos for National Oreo Day on Friday, March 6th, with Mrs. Kroese's class!
In addition, Jeff Kroese taught the students a little bit about how his job has changed over the years. Jeff has worked for Premier Communications for the past 29 years. He showed them the old copper wires, which used to be used to feed homes cable TV and internet, and also showed them the newer fiber and how that works. Thanks, Jeff, for sharing your knowledge with us!
