He spoke to the Middle School students and challenged them to continue to collect pop tabs in support of that organization. TK-4th grade students had fun and worked hard on their black-light-themed art show projects. They did a great job, and their skills were certainly glowing! A special thanks to the high school art students and Mr. Spier for assisting with setup as well as the high school painting class for helping with the backdrop. Last night was the War Eagle Conference Academic Award Banquet. Each school in the War Eagle Conference honors their top 5% of students in both the junior and senior classes. The dinner took place at Trinity High School and had Dr. Dan Cox, chief administrator of Northwest AEA, as the keynote speaker. Our Junior honorees were Payton Diehm and Lillian Van Loon. The Senior honorees, who were unable to attend, were Gracie Knobloch and Samantha Berends. Congratulations!
