Eleven students from HMS performed at the district speech contest in Spencer on Saturday, January 21. Our entries were "The Story of the Phantom" from Goosebumps the Musical in the Musical Theater Category (rated II) and "The Happy Accident" in the Reader's Theater Category (Rated II). Our students represented the district well. Mr. Fisher is proud of their work and appreciates the time and effort invested in the performance.

Congratulations to the HMS High School December Students of the Month!!! One student is selected from each grade after being nominated by High School staff members. Students are nominated for many different reasons. Criteria can include working to the best of the student's ability, being a good role model for other students, doing well academically, having positive character, or simply having a positive attitude in class. Congratulations to these students! We are proud of their efforts and accomplishments!! Thank you to Grounded of Hartley for your sponsorship.
